The design of the task delegation policy
User can user OneList to manage task delegation for all connected systems. The delegation policy feature suppliments the source workflow systems to ensure task delegation created by OneList confirms to the set of rules in the organisation.
Manage delegation policies
A delegation policy is made up by a set of rules and can be applied globally or to individual users.
- Set the policy type: Global or User based;
- Add or remove delegation rule in the policy;
- Activate or de-activate the policy;

| Time-based rule | Controls the maximum delegation period (days). |
| Required claims rule | Delegator and delegate must both have the specific claims. |
| Delegation chain rule | Restricting the length of a chained delegation. |
| Reporting line rule | Delegator and delegate must be on the same reporting line. Specify the levels to walk up or down the reporting line. Whether Delegator and delegate can be peer managers. |
| Inbound limit rule | Controls the maximum number of concurrent delegations a delegate can receive. |
| Reason code rule | Delegations are allowed for certain reasons. |
| Custom rule | Rule is implemented in c# code. |
