Fiori App Builder (FAB)

This is the knowledge base Confluence page for Fiori App Builder. These guides provide step by step instructions on how to quickly build custom applications based on Fiori Guidelines.

The FAB workbench is used in a familiar ABAP environment.

FAB Fiori applications (sometimes known as Forms) can be created for a broad range of purposes including:

• capture and storage of data

• simplifying SAP transactions

• providing a mobile-friendly interface for SAP transactions and processes

• control and visibility of process flow for approvals

• management of Form attachments

• analytics

The completed forms are then ready for use via two tiles in the FAB Launchpad

• My Forms - track your own forms previously saved or submitted using 'New Form'. These are forms already saved and could either be in the status draft, in-progress or completed.

• New Form - open an existing Fiori app to start a new form and start a new process flow. 

The Forms are also available outside of the FAB Launchpad, for example, via direct URL links, or embedded into SAP’s Fiori Launchpad.
